Where will D.J. Wilson end up in Thursday’s 2017 NBA draft, here are three predictions of what is likely to happen to the former Michigan basketball star.

The 2017 NBA draft is finally here and tonight, where will find out where former Michigan basketball player D.J. Wilson winds up.

There are a lot of different options for him especially at the end of the first round. Of course one rumor that has persisted has been a promise, possibly from the Utah Jazz. It has been denied, but Wilson hasn’t worked out much lately, so you have to wonder if it’s true.

But even if it’s not, Wilson’s stock seems to be on the rise. 247sports took a look at where Wilson stood in latest mock drafts and most had him going in the first round. Some have him going as early as 21st to the Oklahoma City Thunder, while others have him going the Utah Jazz, Brooklyn Nets, Portland Trailblazers and Los Angeles Lakers.

Wilson would fit well in all of those places. Many teams are in need of a stretch four and guys that are 6-10, but can also shoot and rebound don’t come around everyday.

After shooting 37 percent from 3-point range and 53 percent from the field overall, Wilson’s offense showed enough potential to be intriguing. He may still be a year or two away from seriously contributing, but the NBA draft is about potential as much as anything.

The former Michigan standout isn’t a guarantee to go in the first round tonight, but it seems he has a good chance. Here are three possible landing spots and predictions.
