Michigan basketball might be at home already if it wasn’t for Wilson’s clutch free throws.

Speaking of player growth, no one on the Michigan basketball team has grown more this season than Wilson, who has increased his scoring average from 2.9 to 10.8.

While Wagner led the Wolverines with 26, Wilson’s 17 points were just as important. First came a clutch 3-pointer in the second half to get Michigan within one. Then, with the game on the line and the Wolverines struggling to inbound the ball, Wilson caught it twice and made four free throws to seal the win.

Like Wagner, Wilson has been catching the eye of NBA scouts and why not? He can shoot, he can handle the ball, he’s athletic and over the last two days, he has proven he can shine on the biggest stage.
