4. 1974 Season-
The 1974 Michigan team finished the season 10-1 with their only loss coming in the season finale against rival Ohio State. Michigan kicker Mike Lantry had a chance to win the game in the final seconds, but was unable to make a 33 yard field goal attempt. The Wolverines were dominant on defense, allowing just 6.8 points per game. Michigan finished the season ranked third in the AP poll.
