5. 1992 Tournament-
The 1992 tournament marked the Fab Five’s first trip to the Big Dance. The five true freshmen starters had a great season and were a six seed in the tournament. After a couple easy wins to start the tournament they played close games against Oklahoma State, Ohio State, and Cincinnati. It was a tremendous run by such a young team, but they ran into a juggernaut in the championship game. Duke was too strong of a team that season and won 71-51 in the final game. It was still a great run that increased the Fab Five’s popularity.
