We have some information about spring practices that we was able to attend this past weekend and will likely share some of the details of our thoughts in regards to Jim Harbaugh’s first year as head coach for the Michigan Wolverine football team.

We will likely talk about the 2016 recruiting class and how the Jim Harbaugh staff and look at how many offers this staff has been throwing out there at such a quick pace, but haven’t gotten anybody at this time yet. We have a opinion on why we haven’t gotten a commit, but would like your thoughts on recruiting for the football team.

The basketball team got a win against Illinois in the Big Ten tournament and likely damaged Illinois chances of getting into the NCAA tournament. Has Michigan gotten themselves an NIT birth now? We would say likely so just for the name-sake along with how Michigan has played of late. We see a glimmer of the future in this team and likely will get some big TV audiences just because of the name Michigan.

Derrick Walton Jr. is still out along with Caris LeVert missing from the line-up. Those two being hurt have really made others step up or change their roles on the team. The biggest issue will be LeVert if he decides to go to the NBA even though he is likely not really ready, but the NBA picks players on potential and what they can do in a couple of years and not what they can do right now.

Congratulations to the women’s gymnastics team for winning the “Big 5” meet championship that had Penn State, Minnesota, Iowa, Rutgers, and of course Michigan.
