There have been a lot of great running backs in the history of Michigan football. No matter the era Michigan has always produced in the running game. Deciding who is the best ever is not an easy task, but here are the top five Michigan running backs in school history. Honorable mention goes to Denard Robinson who was not included on this list because his primary position was quarterback despite his impressive rushing numbers and ability.
