Michigan Wolverine Football: Tidbits After Signing Day
Prattville, Alabama over the past five years have had one of the best programs in the country. Two years ago, they had so many players who were division one players that a couple of players on their second team signed with programs. So, when the head coach claims that Keith Washington is the “best athlete” he has coached, that is really saying something. He could be the diamond in the rough in this class.

The early reports I hear about the current team is just how the difference in approach from the coaches and the program overall. Example, one player said even the team meetings have a competitive feel to it. There is nobody in the room who is not paying very close attention.
Next years class is really crucial. I like this class, it reminds me of some of the Michigan State classes in the past, underrated players who really can developed. Shelton Johnson to me is perfect example of a player who if he really works at S&C could develop into a very good player.
Grant Perry to me was a great pick-up, a player who just seems to produce.
Speaking of next years class, here is my early list of priorities:
Michigan Wolverines
Offensive Line: We need at least three hopefully a couple of offensive tackles that are really athletic.
Linebacker: We could take almost four linebackers. We need a huge upgrade at linebacker in both size and athleticism, but also need numbers.
Cornberback: Not enough cornerbacks. We only took one in this class, if you do not could the transfer from Stanford.
Wide receiver: I think we may take at least three if they are good enough four next year.
Running Back: We will get a good one.
Just one comment I heard. If Zach Gentry has the same approach and intangibles like Alex Malzone, he will be the next great quarterback. But Malzone will be tough to beat out.
Hopefully we can have a chat next Monday night which I will have some early information for chat only.
