Michigan Wolverine Football: Who Benefits from Offer Being Leaked?
The question has been asked who benefits from the offer being out in the public eye now?
Well you could say that everybody does in one way or another.
The agent, who might be the biggest target of getting this information out in the public forums and getting national media attention by showing his client, Jim Harbaugh is getting serious offers and anybody that wants to make an offer after the NFL season is over will likely have to jump the offer reportedly by Michigan’s athletic director Jim Hackett.

The coach, Jim Harbaugh, who of course will get to benefit from this being out there since he will likely get to enjoy spend that kind of money, but the attention of this leaking out doesn’t really do him any good at this time. He will no doubt be asked at press conferences about the offer and if he has any interest in the Michigan job or any other NFL job even though he has a job currently with the San Francisco 49ers.
Michigan Wolverines, who made the offer and likely will get some early praise from their fan-base of going “all in for Jim” and trying to get past all the negative attention surrounding the program over the past decade. Michigan has always been known as going “cheap” for coaching hires and have used their tradition, and past success as trying to lure a coach to Ann Arbor without spending a lot of money.

Well that is clearly not the case any longer especially when the reported offer (which is being disputed as well) is the largest offer to any college or pro football coach.
The Fans, and why not. They can celebrate or at least feel good about the team they follow right now with a little bit of good news. The only thing that could hurt right now is if Jim comes back with a “Not interested” in the Michigan job.
As of right now though, Michigan fans have to be happy that the athletic department has shoot for the moon and put all their chips into the Jim Harbaugh basket and hoping to get a lot of good news shortly after the 49ers season ends on December 28th.
