Recruited while Hoke was still at San Diego State, Wile was immediately tossed into action as a freshman.
Penciled in to handle kickoffs at the outset of the 2011 season, Wile was forced to also be Michigan’s punter when Will Hagerup was suspended for the first four games.
During the last two seasons, Wile was primarily the kickoff man who occasionally tried long field goals and pooch-punted on occasion.
This fall, Wile will also handle the field goal chores since Branden Gibbons graduated. Wile has a 52 and 49 yarder to his credit.
