Here is a article Joshua did on Dec. 18, 2011.
Here is another installment of Q & A sessions. Dymonte Thomas took a moment to answer a few questions for us. Who do you think Dymonte models his play after?
GBMWolverine: I have to start off with this question, I’m sure you’ve heard it a lot. But, what happened with Bri’onte? One day you heard Michigan had a good chance to land him, next thing you know he shored up his commitment with Ohio. Is there anything you can add? Also, how much fun will it be to play your cousin in such a huge rivalry for the next 4-5 years?
Dymonte Thomas: He loves Ohio State, so he stayed there. It will be fun playing against him because I get to blow him up.
GBMWolverine: I know you mentioned that you would like to play safety once you enroll in Ann Arbor. Are you going with the move out of love for the position, or are you more interested in more playing time and a better chance to make it to the NFL?
Dymonte Thomas: Being a safety would allow me to have a greater chance at more playing time, and will also help me get to the next level.
GBMWolverine:
What made you decide to commit to Brady Hoke and come play for the Wolverines?
Dymonte Thomas: I love the coaching staff they’re a bunch of good guys who care for me as a person, not just another player.
GBMWolverine: Talk a little about yourself, everyone knows about Dymonte the football player, but how is Dymonte off the field? What’s your favorite class, food, video game, etc.
Dymonte Thomas: My favorite class is math because my teacher is one of our football coaches so when I’m done with classwork him and I talk about football.
GBMWolverine: What are you most looking forward to when you arrive in Ann Arbor?
Dymonte Thomas: Seeing a bunch of new guys and teammates.
GBMWolverine: Do you have a certain player that you idolized growing up that you model your style of play after?
Dymonte Thomas: Ed Reed, because he’s just a man.
GBMWolverine: In your own opinion, what do you feel are areas that you can improve yourself on the field and what can be done to improve those areas?
Dymonte Thomas: Honestly, in all aspects of my game. There is always room to get better and work very hard towards your goals and bettering yourself.
