The Michigan football season is less than 50 days away and when the 2019 season kicks off, here are three sleepers that will make a big impact.

While it might feel like forever since Michigan football has played a game, the Wolverines are now just seven weeks from opening the 2019 season.

Fall camp will be starting soon and when it does, some of the questions lingering about this Michigan football team will finally be answered. Questions such as who will be the starting running back, the right tackle and the starting corner?

Of course, some of those questions have to do with having a lot of depth and young talent (corner) and with others, it’s a matter of hoping that the thin amount of depth you have comes through (running back).

Either way, Michigan football is a team with plenty of strengths and seemingly very few weaknesses. Running back is one flaw that pundits focus on in addition to some of the key losses on defense such as Rashan Gary, Devin Bush, Chase Winovich and David Long.

Yet, offensively, the Wolverines are missing only Karan Higdon, Juwann Bushell-Beatty and Zach Gentry and even all those players have solid replacements. Some might argue that Michigan football is able to replace Higdon effectively and that remains to be seen.

However, things aren’t necessarily as bad as they seem. Certainly, it would be nice to have Chris Evans to turn to in the backfield but one guy that will help solidify things is the first of my three key sleepers for the 2019 season.
