University of Michigan athletics has a lot of famous alumni. 15 of them stand out above the rest. Nearly every sports program at Michigan has produced someone that has reached the pinnacle of their profession after leaving Ann Arbor. Some have gone on to be legends at the professional level of their sport, and others have gone on to make a name for themselves in something completely unrelated. We are about to go over the 15 most famous Michigan Sports Alumni in school history. Since it’s nearly impossible to distinguish fame over multiple eras and multiple sports, the alumni will be listed alphabetically by last name.
