We have some information about spring practices that have started and now we have a temporary break while the players are on spring break and can give an update on some team news.

We will likely talk about the 2016 recruiting class and how the Jim Harbaugh staff and look at how many offers this staff has been throwing out there at such a quick pace. We will see if they can land some of these recruits soon and likely start seeing a lot of prospects coming to Ann Arbor wants spring practices resume. We have some highly sought after recruits already planning trips to Michigan and could be an interesting month for recruiting.

The basketball team is still struggling with the loss of Derrick Walton Jr. and also Caris LeVert missing from the line-up. They have been fighting well with beat Ohio State at home, but keep coming up short in most games. Michigan will travel to Northwestern on Tuesday and then return home to face Rutgers on Saturday for their final home game and regular season game. Big Ten tournament starts March 11th.

  • The hockey program swept Wisconsin this past weekend at Yost ice arena and will have a critical two games this next upcoming series at Penn State. This could determine the hockey teams fate for the Big Ten title with only four games left before the Big Ten tournament starts March 19th. As of right now, Michigan is in the drivers seat of the Big Ten, but haven’t done so well against Penn State since entering the Big Ten in hockey.

Michigan Softball keeps chugging along with a 18-1 record with their only loss at the time to #1 Florida in their first game 2-1. This past weekend they spent the trip in Arizona beating Toledo twice, Binghampton, and Arizona State twice in the ASU Louisville Slugger Invitational. This next week they head to California to take part in the Judi Garman Classic played in Fullerton, California.

The Michigan baseball team hasn’t been as good as the softball team, but still they have a 6-5 record and remember they have to play half their season on the road and away from Michigan. They will head to South Carolina this weekend to take part in the Coastal Carolina Invitational.

We will have a post about the chat tonight and what you need to do, to get in.

Thanks and hope to see you guys tonight.
