Michigan Wolverine Football: Csont’e York suspended indefinitely
As expected and talked about on the GBMWolverine message board early last week Csont’e York is suspended.
“Csont’e York (WR — sophomore) is suspended indefinitely for failing to meet team standards and will not report for fall camp. We demand that every person in our program represent the University of Michigan and the Michigan football program the right way on and off the field. When people fall short of that, there are consequences.”There have been a lot of rumors as to what York did and talked about on various message boards as well, but we will just leave it at that for now.
York was battling to get in the rotation for the receiver position and likely will be held out this season and take a red-shirt year. He probably missed a great opportunity to see some snaps this year and with some pretty good receivers either coming in this fall as freshman or next year it might make it pretty tough for York to crack the line-up now.
