Michigan Football: Take On Offensive Line Play — Part I

#1, I am not going to insult any ones intelligence and tell you it was good. There were way too many missed blocks.

I am going to tell you there was a positive in the offensive line play. If you notice no one is talking about missed assignments.

That was the #1 complaint last season, there were too many times the linemen had no clue who to block.

Today for the most part they were blocking the right people.

After 30 plus years working with linemen I can tell you knowing who block is over 50% of the battle. Again, not saying they were good, or even okay, but Saturday I saw something to build on. And that is a step, baby step, in the right direction.
