Michigan Football: Coach’s Clinic — Notes

This is a small sample/snip-its of what we have on spring practice on the message board from the coach’s clinic. Have to be a member of the message board to read the complete 600 plus word post.

Offense:

Ross Douglas certainly doesn’t look out of place at Running Back.

Freddy Canteen is freaky fast, just needs to be more consistent catching the ball. He had quite a few drops, but he got open any time he wanted.

As you might expect, tons of power, zone and play-action on Offense.

Mason Cole looks legit already.

Defense:

Mo Hurst looked great on Saturday.

Our Defensive Line is huge.

Mone is a complete tank, he will play for sure this year (IMO).

Bolden looked awesome, I say he’s most improved and much bigger. Him and Ryan should be great (IMO).

Coach Mattison:

Coach Mattison in the breakouts said they are going to play a ton more man coverage and was adamant he thinks they will be a great pressure team. He really thinks this the first time they’ve had a “Michigan Defense” up front.
