Michigan Hockey: Phil Di Giuseppe Leaves Hockey Team

First early departure from the Michigan roster has been announced.

Phil Di Giuseppe (#7, 6’1, 195, Forward, 20 years old) has signed with the Carolina Hurricanes and will forgo his senior season.

PhilThis is a mild surprise considering that much more was expected from Phil Di Giuseppe and he was not a two way type player that most NHL teams desire. He does have great speed and a good shot, so the other things will have to play themselves out.

Good luck to Phil Di Giuseppe.
