Michigan: the tweet, The Tweet, THE TWEET! — 3/8/2014

GBMWolverine Readers: Here is an overview of University of Michigan happenings in the Twitter-verse.

Well the B1G regular basketball season is in the books and the Wolverines are the outright champions for the first time since 1986.  The team ends their regular season against the
Hoosiers tonight and hope to send senior Jordan Morgan out on a high note.
The season has been such a special one so far, and Michigan looks to be a number three seed currently going into the B1G tournament and will need some help from above if there is a chance at a second seed.

However, regardless of the NCAA tourney seeding , the season has many wondering if Michigan might land both the B1G Coach and Player of the Year awards.

Meanwhile the football team is on break, and when they return though many assume Devin Gardner will be the quarterback the position battle will
continue as competition  is necessary for success according to Coach Nussmeier.

Another recent QB issue cam to light in the fact that Michigan is showing a lot of interest in a 2015 dual-threat quarterback Brandon Wimbush from New Jersey (though he has not been offered yet) when many believed the Wolverines would transition to recruiting primarily drop-back pro-style players at the position.

Speaking of recruiting, the status of consensus five star recruit Malik Mcdowell who pledged to the Spartans on national signing day is still in limbo, and remains in a stalemate with his parents.

The rumors circulating in recruiting circles now is that he is very likely to end up at his mom’s choice which was Michigan.
