The Wolverines have lost four straight games for the second time this season. Michigan
has allowed 17 goals (4.25 goals/game) in the last four games, including last night’s 5-4
(OT) loss to the Nittany Lions.
The good news is Michigan hasn’t lost two straight games at Yost Ice Arena this season, and is 7-2-2 at home.
The bad news, if this team continues to play like they are right now they will not be seeing the NCAA tournament for the second year in a row.
Michigan’s Andrew Sinelli and Michael Downing are eligible to return tonight after serving one-game suspensions. The Big Ten Conference office announced Monday that each player had been suspended for one game, under the conference’s supplemental discipline process, as a result of separate incidents that occurred in a game
