Michigan Football: Dynamic Fast Twitch Athletes — 2014 Commits — Part II

Yesterday we talked about the “fast-twitch” guys on the current Michigan football roster, but today wanted to talk about the incoming recruits or the ones that are already committed to Michigan in the 2014 recruiting class.

Freddy Canteen:
Position: Wide Receiver
Height: 6’3
Weight: 170
City/State: Elkton, Maryland
High School: Eastern Christian Academy

Michigan Football...This is MichiganComments:
Really improved between his junior and senior years, if he gets a bit more flexibility his movement skills will also improve.

Drake Harris:
Position: Wide Receiver
Height: 6’4
Weight: 180
City/State: Grand Rapids, Michigan
High School: Grand Rapids Christian

Nice burst, if learns to play lower and drop hips he will increase his movement skills.

Lawrence Marshall:
Position: Defensive End
Height: 6’3
Weight: 215
City/State: Southfield, Michigan
High School: Southfield

Solid get off and okay closing burst. Needs a lot of work on his hips and flexibility.

Jabrill Peppers:
Position: Cornerback
Height: 6’0
Weight: 190
City/State: Paramus, New Jersey
High School: Paramus Catholic HS)

Highly skilled with explosiveness and acceleration. Best movement skills since Denard Robinson.

Jared Wangler:
Position: Linebacker
Height: 6’1
Weight: 215
City/State: Warren, Michigan
High School: De La Salle Collegiate

My pick as #1 sleeper of the year. Shows good explosion and closing burst. Type of Linebacker Michigan State takes and ends up all-Conference.

Brandon Watson:
Position: Cornerback
Height: 5’11
Weight: 185
City/State: Elkton, Maryland
High School: Eastern Christian Academy

Did show a nice burst and some closing quickness.
