Michigan Football: the tweet, The Tweet, THE TWEET! — 9/5/2013

GBMWolverine Readers: Here is an overview of University of Michigan happenings in the Twitterverse.

All of the lights, all of the lights.  Turn up the lights in here, baby – Extra bright, I want y’all to see this. Turn up the lights in here, baby – You know what I need, Want you to see everything, Want you to see all of the lights!!  Well Saturday is the second time for Michigan and the Irish Under the Lights.  The Michigan administration are taking the lights one step further, giving out LED bracelets for all those in attendance.

Coming soon to Michigan Stadium.

Speaking of bright lights.  The stadium will also be packed with many 2014, 2015,  2016, and beyond Wolverine prospects (as well as commits).  Malik McDowell, Josh Ross, Justin Hilliard, Jashon Cornell, Desmond Fitzpatrick, Messiah DeWeaver, Ostell Martin Jr., Tim Settle, Michael Onwenu, Tyriq Thompson, Tyrone Wheatley Jr., Matthew Burrell, Erik Swenson, Thiyo Lukusa, Grant Perry, Cassius Peat, Tommy Roush, Shea Patterson, Martell Pettaway, Rob Dowdy, Mike Weber, Joshua Alabi, David Edwards , Brian ColeLawrence Gordon, David Moorman, and T.D. Moton.  There will also be many basketball visitors including Donte Grantham, Kameron Chatman , Jaylen Coleman, Jalen Brunson, Cassius Winston, TJ Leaf, and Tyus Battle.  However, probably most important is the visit by the #1 DE in the country Da’Shawn Hand for his official.

But if you ask those in Vegas the lights are not going to be so bright for the Irish in Ann Arbor as they were in South Bend last year.  Paul Bessire a sports statistician does weekly power rankings, and Vegas odds analysis and he writes “Now, traveling to Ann Arbor with a weaker offense than 2012 and highly unlikely prospects of generating another six turnovers, replicating last season’s victory in the last year of this “rivalry” will be very difficult for Brian Kelly’s team to do”. He also places the Irish six spots behind the Wolverines in power ranking.
