Garrett will add much needed depth to the quarterback position. Going into fall camp, Michigan will have five healthy quarterback with Devin Gardner, Shane Morris, Brian Cleary and Alex Swieca. Michigan still has Russell Bellomy, but will likely be out this fall with a knee injury that occurred during spring practices.
His high school teammate Wyatt Shallman is part of the 2013 Michigan football recruiting class who will most likely be used as an H-Back/fullback in the Michigan offense.
Garrett Moores helped lead Detroit Catholic Central into the 2012 Division I state championship game. He went 12 of 23 for 221 yards, 3 touchdowns and 2 interceptions in a loss to Detroit Cass Tech.
Also played basketball for Detroit Catholic Central as well.
GBMWolverine believes he will likely red-shirt his first year.
We welcome Garrett Moores to Michigan and hope he has a successful career on and off the football field as a student-athlete at the University of Michigan. Go Blue!
