Michigan Football: GBMWolverine Senior Salute and Appreciation — Roy Roundtree
Roy Roundtree — Wide Receiver — Trotwood, Ohio
Roy Roundtree graduated from Trotwood-Madison High School near Dayton. He was a three and four-star receiver that immediately received some unwanted fame when he decommitted from Purdue and signed with Michigan. This of course brought about the now meaningless snake oil comment from Joe Tiller.
Roy came to Michigan very underweight, probably no more than 160 pounds. At this time Roy will never be mistaken for Charles Atlas, but he has gained plenty of strength.

However, and of great note, Roy also caught some passes that will be staples of Michigan video for decades to come, most notably the game winner against Notre Dame. He had the bad luck of making a great catch and then having the catch somehow overturned against Nebraska.
This year, Roy has been hailed by the coaching staff for being a leader, a contributor, and a true Michigan team player.
Roy will take four letters and some great memories with him upon graduation, not to mention a valued degree.
