Michigan Football: GBMWolverine Senior Salute and Appreciation — Will Campbell

Will Campbell — Defensive Tackle — Detroit, Michigan

Big Will Campbell came to Michigan a five star recruit, a little out of shape, and lacking the strength and fundamentals needed to excel at the college level. Due to a horrid depth and talent condition on the defensive line of a porous defense, Big Will was thrown into the mix. Will has improved greatly the last two years and came into camp last year in super shape. His hard work progressed into leadership and has resulted in a strong senior year.

Along with Q Washington, the middle of the defensive line has progressed from easy pickings to a team strength. Big Will leaves Michigan with four letters and it would be no surprise if he lays it on the line at Senior Day. For some players, four years of college forms an attachment, Big Will may fit into that category.
