After watching the game and going over the tape.

Positives:

1) We played a bunch of kids. And Coach Mattison used a bunch of new pass rushing schemes. Most notable was that Ryan, Clark and Mario was on the field at the same time in passing situations. In fact, Mario lined up at defensive tackle at times in pass situations and despite his lack of size got a great push to the quarterback. The kid has a huge future and as I stated before is going to be the type of player by the time he leaves Michigan that teams are going to have to scheme against.

4) Ryan was great today as was Q-Washington at times. Hard to say how our secondary looked because they were rarely challenged.

Note:

One thing that we can all agree coaches in the past have always said the best players will play and under RR and Carr this was not always the case. When they use to tell kids they will play in games if they practice hard this rarely happened, but with Coach Mattison it does happen and kids know it.

Overall:

A very good day and the constant coaching players to be more physical, the persistent physical practices are showing signs of paying off.

But, as much progress that has been made, we would have a huge setback if we do not have great production this coming Saturday Its a must win.
