Overview:
David Dawson is a solid athlete for Cass Tech.
He plays for former Michigan RB Thomas Wilcher whose team helped lead the Pilots to the Michigan State Title.
There are no grade averages or test scores to report.
Coach Wilcher in recent comments has spoken highly of David.
Strengths:

Dawson is a Wolverine
Further he possesses those nice long arms that coaches love on offensive linemen.
David, like many of the 2012-2013 commits and recruits is strong at the point of attack.
He uses his hands well and has excellent hand placement.
An extra for David is that he is solid at pass pro.
Needs work:
David will need to improve his balance and overall conditioning level.
He also has a habit of throwing himself off balance.
He does not have great length and will need to watch his pad level.
Final Thoughts:
Michigan lands two more Cass Tech athletes in the big haul of February 18.
He is good enough to challenge for playing time in two or three years. On one day Michigan landed three four star offensive linemen. Congratulations to the commits and coaches.
We welcome David Dawson to Michigan and hope he has a successful career on and off the football field as a student-athlete at the University of Michigan. Go Blue!
Red-shirt or play his Freshman Year?
GBMWolverine believes he will likely red-shirt his first year.
David Dawson reminds the GBMWolverine Staff of — Former Michigan Football Player — Jonathon Goodwin — who played Offensive Line.
