GBMWolverine: Michigan Football — Tidbits from MaizeMan — on Team #133
Here is a small sample of MaizeMan’s thoughts of Team #133 and the coaching staff.
2) In some ways, our defense (team #133) could be even younger than team #132. I will preface this by saying (“inexperience) may be a better word than younger, but fact is team #133 could be loaded with not only “young” players, but we could see those players who are somewhat experienced playing a different position. Even our most experienced players Roh, Black, Ryan to name a few could see a different role next year (that is what spring football is all about).
5) One of the things coaches are really worried about (team #133) is in order to get them where they want to be they will have to have very physical practices this spring and fall. The worry is they simply do not have the bodies on the OL (in spring) to really go at it properly. They basically once again have about 6 or 7 OL’s–then a big drop-off. So that prevents your 2nd team offense and defense to really get a good look and coaches cant play the same OL’s the entire practice. This will go away next year, but this year it is a problem.
