Offensive Lineman from Plant City High School, Tampa Florida
Tony is a big; maybe massive is more accurate, physical offensive tackle one who is capable of moving the line of scrimmage. His high school, as with many Florida high schools churns out talent, one alumni being Class of 2010 commit, Eric Dungy, Tony Dungy’s son, to Oregon.
Tony is a three star on one service and not yet ranked on the other. He is somewhere in the neighborhood or 6’5 or 6’6 and well over 300 pounds. That is indeed a big neighborhood. Tony is one of many Michigan targets on the offensive line.
Tony also has enough flexibility to move inside and play offensive guard, which is always a plus when recruiting offensive linemen. The more spots a recruit can play, the more opportunities he might have with a program. Coaches like linemen who provide multiple possibilities instead of being tied to one position and having to then recruit other linemen to fill a specific need.
Tony appears to be a solid pass protector and even at his size has some ability to pull and lead.
On film Tony shows the ability to bend his knees, but he will need to be more consistent with his pad level. In most cases, pad level difficulties can be corrected with proper training and coaching. Sometimes at the high school level recruits, especially the more talented players, do not get as much attention, or do not get sufficient time to work on the proper fundamentals, as a player does at the college level.

Tony, as well, will need to improve his overall conditioning and strength at the next level, a lot of offensive linemen at the high school level need to be prepared to do the above to morph into a true mature college lineman.
Tony is a bulldozer; think somewhat of a taller Justin Boren. The biggest difference is stength, but Tony will have several years to rectify that virtue.
